About PatchReporter

PatchReporter is built for MSPs and IT teams that need clearer patch reporting first, then live patch operations visibility when a real-time response layer matters.

What We Built

PatchReporter is a Windows patch reporting and patch operations platform built around two layers: Reporting and Operations. Reporting turns scheduled RMM patching audits into clearer prioritization and better client-ready reporting. Operations adds live visibility and agent-driven remediation on top.

Who It Is For

It is built for MSPs and lean IT teams that need to explain patch status more clearly, surface failed patch signals earlier, and spend less time stitching together RMM exports, spreadsheets, and device-by-device review.

How It Works

PatchReporter starts with scheduled RMM patching audits, predictive failed-patch signals, and a Needs Attention workflow that helps teams review the exceptions that actually matter. For teams that need a more active operating layer, the PatchReporter agent adds real-time dashboard visibility and agent-driven auto-healing.

Why This Exists

Most teams do not need another abstract patch score. They need to know what improved, what still needs attention, which devices are actually at risk, and how to explain all of that to a client or internal stakeholder without relying on raw RMM output.

PatchReporter exists to close that gap. It works alongside your RMM, not as a replacement patch engine, so you can separate reporting noise from real patch failures, present a more credible client-ready report, and then add live remediation capabilities when you need them.

How We Think About Patching

The core idea is simple: signal over score. Patch health is better explained by failed installs, missed check-ins, pending restarts, stale scans, and repeated exceptions than by one percentage alone.

That is why PatchReporter is designed to help teams interpret patch reporting before they act on it. The goal is clearer operating decisions, stronger technician follow-through, better client communication, and a cleaner path from visibility to remediation.

Start Using It

Use the Reporting tier to improve client reporting, prioritization, and scheduled RMM patching audits. Move into Operations when you need real-time dashboard visibility and agent-driven remediation on top of that foundation.
